A Tribute to Ken Becker

We would like to take a moment to honor Kenneth Jay Becker, who lost his courageous yearlong battle to cancer on August 13, 2014.

Ken started Safeworld International in 1978, with the Safety Bear Reflector Program, providing safety reflectors to school children in Alaska, inspired by his college year abroad in Sweden. In 1982 he ran across the Original CanGun Design while traveling through England. And thus began his new career in the Hardware Industry.

Ken, the magical, contagious personality, force and spirit behind the CanGun1 invention, as well as 30 years of marketing the Original CanGun lived his life fully.

Ken ran his business the same way he lived his life, played the harmonica, and rocked the turntables…with intergrity, passion, hard work, humor, inspiration, heart and a whole lot of soul!

He is dearly missed and cherished in our hearts forever.
